Not available outside your network & Bad quality - HELP!

Hey guys, complete noob here. Only been using Plex for about a month and not tech savvy at all. Has been running great until only a couple of days ago when on my TV it popped up with an error saying:

“Indirect playback - you are not connected directly to this server so streaming quality may be limited. You may be able to connect directly by changing your home network settings”

From there I’ve also noted it comes up with a red exclamation mark in my settings on my server saying “not available outside your network” and this doesn’t change even when I click on “manually specify public port”.

I’ve read through so many forums and reddit posts and they’re either all way too complicated answers or really don’t give any form of solution. I can still watch videos but the quality is so poor and won’t let me change it. It says in the dashboard it has taken the quality down to standard. I am running this on a wired network cable through to my modem and then the TV is on wireless.

Any help here would be much appreciated as this is very frustrating! Nothing has seemingly changed at all with anything on my computer or internet!

Try reading this and the associated links https://support.plex.tv/articles/216766168-accessing-a-server-through-relay/

That doesn’t help given the remote access is saying “not available outside your network” and I am literally sitting in my house next to my network and server.

Only trying to help, some of the articles linked may have been assistance as you shouldn’t be getting that error either and may resolve the issue. Good luck.

Sorry didn’t mean for that to sound rude. None of the articles I have read have helped or any of the steps that I have been able to try have helped. This has happened overnight with nothing changing
