I recently upgraded to 1.13.2.5154, and started getting the message “Not available outside your network” when i log in to the plex.tv website or from my phone.
I am able to hit the server from http://myip:32400 (or any other public port i map to) from outside and it opens OK. I can even see traffic hitting my NAT rule.
Config on firewall has not changed.
I downgraded to 1.13.0.5023 but even so I still cant access.
Servers itself inside works fine without any issue.
Any ideas please? Any further info i can get to enable diagnosis?
Thanks for reply, for some reason has to specify the port manually as 32400, it wasn’t using default and on the screen it showed 0 as the outside port (or perhaps this is now required in recent versions if no upnp is running on router). Is working at least now
I am having the same issue. I tried setting the port manually, but no luck. I can access my server fine if I manually type in the external ip:32400, but not if I go to plex.tv or using the Android app. If I am on my local network (or I turn on my VPN, so basically like being on the network) it works fine. It also used to work fine using a previous version, so I know the port forwarding is set up correctly.
Then you did create the manual port forwarding in the preferences of your router.
If you did that, you must fill the check box ‘Manually specify public port’ and put the external port number in there.
Afterwards, click on Retry once,
wait a few seconds and click again.
Then just let it sit.
