I’m running a plex server on a RPI4. Multiple clients including AppleTV, iOS and MacOS.
About a month ago, I started seeing an issue where I fire up my TV and I get a “ is currently unavailable” message. I get this from all clients. The server is in fact running. So I restart the server and I still see this message. So I have to also restart the client. After which, everything is fine for about 24 hours or so then I get the same message, etc.
Previously, my setup worked fine for years. Other than somewhat regularly updating my RPI4 and plex clients, I haven’t changed anything.
I am running the latest version:
Server Version#: 1.40.2.8395-c67dce28e
I had been hoping a new version of plexmediaserver might fix this issue, but it was apparently last updated on April 18th. (Previously they seemed to be updating more frequently than this).
I looked into rolling back to a previous version but apt-cache showpkg only lists this one as available.
Below is what I see in the logs when I bring up a new client connection to a server that’s running but not being shown as available in the client.
Not seeing any other folks talking about this in this forum or on reddit.
Any workarounds or insights greatly appreciated.
