Not detecting SHIELD as local network

Server Version#: 1.20.1.3252 (running on windows)
Player Version#: Latest

My shield is just a player. Direct play everything from a windows server on the same network.

A couple of days ago I updated the server version and now my SHIELD is not detected as local player. The quality nose dived and I saw it was transcoding. I changed remote streaming options and it sorted out the quality issue.

I have a few family members that use my server remotely so I cant leave it on Original quality for remote access as I only have 30mb upload.

Worked fine before.

Finding it hard to get the right search term to find if anyone else has this problem.

Basic questions -

What IP address is your Plex Server using?
What IP address is your Shield using?
Are they both connected to the same router?
Does your Plex Server have multiple network adapters or IP addresses?
Do you have IPv6 enabled on the Plex Server?

Is there any VPN software on the server?

It might be necessary to share logs, but I’m reluctant to ask for them because I’m not the best at reading them. I’m happy to try though - or somebody else might read them for you.

I was just doing some logs whilst connecting various devices and the damn thing is working as normal now…
