Not finding local server on xbox360

I'm not sure if any one else has had an issue with this but i am having trouble getting plex to play on my 360.

It is saying that it can't find my media server and i need to have the .9.11.5 or higher.
After doing some updating and what not i can now say that i have the latest version of plex installed on my computer. My NowTV box picks it up just fine.  I can connect to my local server via my pc or my nowtv box and thats it.

I'm a plex pass subber, so thats not the issue. i can't help but feel like i'm missing something here. is it microsoft? is it plex? some where i'm getting ripped off for my money and would like a workaround or fix for this.

your server needs to be signed into in the server Connect settings. ( but I don't think it needs to be "connected to plex", streaming will still be local )

I believe all of the Preview apps need to be connected to plex.tv to verify PlexPass status at the minimum, but in the case of the Xbox's it is needed to look up the server info since MS doesn't allow crawling the local network by 3rd party apps.

i'll give it a shot later, thanks guys ^^
