Not getting matadata for the current season of Colbert

We’re eight episodes into the new season of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert and I’m not getting any metadata for them. TheTVDB has info for all the way into next week, and the Movie DB has info for the first seven episodes.

I’ve tried refreshing the metadata on the show a couple times since the new season started. Also I’m still getting metadata for other shows added, so it’s not an issue with my server talking to the Plex Series agent. It’s only with this one show since it started airing new episodes again.

Are your files named by SxxEyy or by date?

SxxEyyy. I used to use just the date but had issues a couple times so I renamed them all.
Plex isn’t having issues identifying them. It’s just not giving me any metadata.

Edit: Three digit episode, cause it’s a daily.

In general what you see available on there should also be available via the regular (non-legacy) agents.

Oh, man. I forget about watch.plex.tv – that is a good idea to check there.

I’m on the current (not legacy) agent. So what do I have to do to get this loaded here? I refreshed the metadata just before I posted here.

I have recreated the issue. Apparently the episodes in season 9 are not getting matched.
I have forwarded the issue to the devs.

I’m having the exact same issue. At the same time as it started, I also started having trouble with a show called Payback (2023) (TVDB ID 424178). It appears to be matching to a zombie entry from the TVDB where it displays as Payback (2022) with the correct show description and poster, but incorrect episode names and summaries. There is no active listing for Payback 2022. I believe this is related to the Colbert issue because they happened at about the same time two weeks ago.

As an update for the Colbert issue. Episode 9 is now matching appropriately, but the first 8 still won’t match.
