Since Monday 5th Feb new episodes of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert are not getting matched by Plex and not displaying metadata. Prior to Monday all episodes (going back to 2nd Oct 2023) from current Season 9 have matched perfectly. I am using the Plex Series agent and the PlexTV Series scanner. I’ve refreshed the metadata and also removed the files and re-added but still seeing the same. Any idea if something has changed?
How are these files named?
And are they stored within the necessary folder structure?

The folder structure is correct → TV Shows, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and matches TVDB naming. As I said, episodes up until last Friday have been matching perfectly, it’s only from Monday that it stopped matching. I haven’t changed any library setting on the server. The unmatched episodes appear in the Plex client in the correct show but with no metadata and unsorted. All other shows are matching correctly, it’s just this one which is has a problem.

This is happening to me as well. It’s also happening with After Midnight. Someone on Reddit said it’s happening to Late night as well. It’s not impacting all ‘daily’ style episodes as Jeopardy is working fine. I think it’s some kind of issue with plex and tvdb syncing.
Yes, The Daily Show is matching just fine including yesterday’s episode. For me it’s just The Late Show with Stephen Colbert but only since Feb 5th as I describe above.
Are you using a TVDB ordering? If so their api was affected by an issue which resulted in some updates not coming through. This has been resolved and the new data should start coming through at some point during the day.
Yes, thanks for the heads up, I’ve refreshed metadata for the show and all episodes are matching correctly again.
