Has anyone figured out how to make the DVR record TV shows/Movies into a set folder. I understand I can select the folder but it’s dependent on the person who’s setting up the recording. I would be nice to force all my TV/Movie recording into a set folder. For example If I’m recording “Superman” the movie on CBS I want it to land into my “DVR-Movie” folder not my “Movie” folder

Right…as I noted “I understand I can select the folder but it’s dependent on the person who’s setting up the recording” Which is what your showing. My ask is to allow one to hard set the folders. One for the TV recordings and one for the Movie recordings. Emby allows one to do this on recordings and I’m trying to do the same on Plex.
From my experience the selection of what folder to record to is kept between scheduling different recordings. So if you tell your users to select a specific drive/directory when they schedule a recording they do not need to remember to always select the location in the future as it will default to the previously selected location.
So what your saying is if I record a Movie and store it to the DVR-Movie folder all future movie type recording will default to DVR-Movie also. I guess that gives me some comfort. I wish the Plex programming team would allow more control to an element that introduces a lot of unknown media onto the PMS.
