For quite a while now, it won’t match Stephen Colbert by date.
It’s fine for others like the daily show, but I have to manually add the s04e?? to the file before it will work, and even then, the meta data only has the date.
A day or so later, it will manage to find it
This works:
/TV/Stephen Colbert/stephen.colbert.s04e97.2019.02.11.john.oliver.720p.web.x264-tbs[eztv].mkv
Simply removing s04e97 stops it matching
The same style works for other shows like
/TV/daily show/the.daily.show.2019.02.07.dorothy.butler.gilliam.extended.web.x264-tbs[ettv].mkv
The closest match seems to be a default episode it will match all Colbert episodes to
I guess I should have mentioned it’s the daily show with Trevor Noah as the 2nd example I gave.
I wanted to show how it reliably matches those show names anyway
I’ve tried to set up file bot once before without luck.
The question is why it only fails to properly match ONLY for that show, when it worked fine previously, and works for other shows
It partially matches but instead of matching the episode from the date, it doesn’t match to a season/episode and seems to use the date of s01e01 but not the season and episode
I’ve seen other people having the same problem and not managing to fix it
