This appears to only impact Season Pass recordings (All [Team X] Events), as previous testing of scheduling a one-off recording of a game (not my team) descriptions would get saved fine. I thought it might be something corrupt with the scheduled recording/task, so yesterday I created two additional season pass recordings for two other teams (one set to record longer (as is my team’s recording setting) and one to end on time), and both recordings showed no episode description, even though the description was showing up in the EPG guide when scheduling the recording. This was not an issue during last year’s NFL season, although I think my PMS server last year was on a PC (whose mobo died and I haven’t had time to replace, and still using Shield for time being), although I do know I did record a few games last year on Shield, but they might have been one-off recordings.
I have seen this happen occasionally for non-NFL games, but one problematic show just recorded a bunch of episodes on Saturday and the descriptions came through fine.
