Not sure what this server is or how to remove it

Server Version#: 1.29.0.6244
Player Version#: 4.87.2

When I am on Plex Web/Desktop/Apple TV and I select sources to pin, I have a server that I don’t own that never connects to anything. I’ve tried to remove this server but this person is not populated in my friends list or in Devices. I do not own this server, I need to remove it (aesthetically it’s driving me nuts).

You can look in Settings → Authorized Devices and see if that’s listed.

When looking at the picture posted, any server you haven’t seen in about two weeks gets removed.

In case this is an issue due to the password breach at Plex a month or two ago, did you reset your password and have it sign out of all devices?

I don’t see it listed in Authorized Devices. When I click the server I get “Jian’s MacBook Air” is unavailable (I should specify that my name is not Jian). Retry Connection or troubleshooting webpage.

Password changed 4 weeks ago, signed out of all devices.

Sounds like you did the right thing with the passwords.
How long has that server been listed do you know?
Other than waiting, I’m not sure there’s anything you can do.
I take that back. Here’s a post that might apply:

let us know

Server has been there and not active for to 2 years. Not listed in Plex Home or Authorizes Devices > Servers

@BigWheel hello, based on your previous offer to help, would you look at this user’s ghost server topic I’m posting in? When he told us it’s been there 2 years, I was surprised.
