Nvidia shield 2019 (16Go version)

Hello,

Currently i use plex server on synoly nas and plex client on nvidia shield
But i want to migrate the plex server (not the data) on the shield. i’ve configured a network storage on the shield to see the library. it’s ok

But when i want to install the plex server from the shield, i dont see him on the google play store from the shield interface
When i check on my phone, i see the plex server beta but i cant install it remotely on the shield, it say me “your device is not compatible”

i try the be beta member on google play but the same

i dont understand why it’s not compatible, all shield version can run it …

i try to add 32Go SD storage on the shield but the same

Someone have an idea about this problem ?

As far as I know the Plex Media Server will only run on the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 version. If you have tubular version, Plex Media Server can not be installed on that as it isn’t supported.

Just i dont understand why the classic version may no work because the specs are very similiare and old shield work well with plex server …

Possibly due to RAM limitations.

The Shield 2019 (tube) has 2GB RAM.

The Shield 2019 Pro and older models have 3GB RAM.
