The Q6F only has a 100/10 Ethernet port as do most smart Tv’s hence why you get faster speeds over WiFi. Poor show for the price of the TV
I know this is months and months old and I don’t know if you’ll actually see this but I’m having the exact same issue… What did you mean by do you put the label to “PC“?
The label of the “INPUT” on LG tv, if you do this, it’ll enable a broader colour space, the minute you put this to custom or somethingt other than “PC”, it’ll be fine e.g. I named mine “Denon AVR”. I noticed the issue was easy to notice when watching “blue planet II”, first episode.
Well thanks for the tip the problem is I’m having the issue on two shield devices (1 a 2017 model and I purchased a 2019 pro model because I thought it would be better…) one connected to an LG projector so I will try that for the LG projector and the other connected to a Samsung TV which I don’t think will work… Anyway thanks for getting back to me.
Not so fast. Not a day or two ago I was inspired to try again and I think I got it working. I duplicated most of my settings from my regular TV app setup where stuff looks purdy. The thing that made the biggest difference was for me to change the hdmi back to Auto from Full. It’s looking almost exactly the same now plus I’m now able to direct play all the higher level audio stuff instead of trying to select 5.1 sources.
sounds like all or most of the problems in this thread are related to tv color space and/or hdmi settings, and not something shield specific?
My problem is definitely shield specific and not anything to do with the color space on the TV. As I’ve tried it on multiple shields and on multiple TVs with every setting you can think of…
