Then you have your display settings wrong in the shield. Make sure you’ve selected 59Hz HDR10 & DV ready [IMG_7288]

Checked my Shield settings & that is the one I have selected on it as well. Shows the same. It’s something I missed I’m sure, but I even rebooted my TV and Shield, just to see if the settings didn’t take right away or something, but…it still shows just regular HDR10 on my Shield.

Try bypassing your avr to test. If you have netflix, try a DV movie both on the shield and the tv directly.

Yep, tried the Profile 5 and it wouldn’t play. It did play the Profile 8 and it only played the regular HDR10.

Have you tried to play some test files via a usb or locally from Shield TV Player

I tried playing the MKV file directly from my OPPO UDP-203 player and it wouldn’t give Atmos sound, and the HDR just said HEVC when I pressed the into button, so couldn’t tell if Dolby Vision was triggered or not really. I’ll try the ts files, but the test downloads from before were mp4 and those didn’t show up as Dolby Vision either.
