Just got a new Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 set up w/ latest build of Plex Server, and was curious if anyone has had luck getting the DVR working with a Hauppauge ‘Digital TV for Xbox One’ USB tuner? The official list shows only the Hauppauge ‘WinTV-DualHD’ model as compatible…but didn’t know if they were truly that different/drivers etc. Really don’t like to double-dip and purchase a second USB tuner adapter if not necessary. UPDATE: Well, nothing like just wiring and firing it up. the Shield initially/automatically recognizes the Hauppauge ‘Digital TV for Xbox One’ USB tuner and was able to successfully integrate into the built-in Android DVR app. The tuner set-up, viewing via guide, instant record while viewing AND a simple timer record all went off without a hitch. My hope is the Plex will likewise play nice with it.
