Nvidia Shield Aspect Ratio weirdness

I randomly have issues with 4:3 content I notice with the latest (listed above) versions on the shield. I am not sure how to reproduce it because sometimes I can switch it to ‘convert automatically’ and then back to ‘original’ and it sometimes changes. Anyone else run into any weirdly stretched playback with this version on the Shield?
