I am having this same issue. From other questions I have confirmed my server (running on Shield Pro) is version 1.40. I have turned the server off and on.

Thank You, but I believe that I have already tried just that but I could recycle one more time just to make shure. Will post if anything changes. For now it seems like a bug - not shure if in the web platform or the android PMS instance itself.

It looks like a permission issue looking at those logs. You’re on the stable 1.32.8 version? After downgrading I found that the permissions weren’t sticking like they should be so had to do it several times before it worked.

I have the same problem with the Plexserver on my Shield. I also have a Plexserver running on a PC and a QNAP NAS and on those two it works fine. So it seems to be a problem on the Shield.

I would say that this is a solution for now :slight_smile: Libraries created/added as expected. No similar errors in the logs. So it seems that a previous version must be used 1.32. Thank You for the advice!

Could you help me a little bit. I downloaded that previous version and it is now on my PC. So the apk needs to go to the Shield. How do I do that? And if the apk is somewhere on the shield, can I just install it without uninstalling the ‘other’ one first? Thanks in advance for the help!!!

They pushed an update to the Play Store to fix it, so you can check for an update to the server app. I installed it and it is working for me. Here is the thread that the Plex employees posted in. Core component problem, I can't add libraries, any help appreciated
