Please help!
The Live TV stream on my Nvidia Shield client is having issues after a server hardware change. I can stream live TV using the HDHomeRun app on the Nvidia Shield without issue.
The current server configuration is a dedicated Lenovo M900, Intel Core i5-6500T, Intel HD Graphics 530, 8GB DDR4, 256GB Solid State Drive, Win10Pro. Media storage is a Seagate Expansion Desktop 4TB External Hard Drive connected via USB3.0. The server, Shield, and tuner are connected directly to my router with Cat6E cables.
When I play live TV using the Plex app on the Shield it is choppy and will freeze after about 10 minutes. Once it freezes if I try to skip back 10 seconds I am presented with a message that says the recording failed even though I’m not recording. If I try to skip back 10 seconds before it freezes, then it will skip all the way back to the beginning of the stream. Sometimes I get a “Weak Signal” message.
I have tried to change numerous settings to no avail so I am going to share my Server log here to see if anybody can figure out what’s going on. I cleared the log, launched a new live tv session on the Shield, waited for about 1minute after the session froze, and saved the log.
