Hello,

I am facing large amounts of freezing and instability when watching content on my Nvidia Sheild. This happens when I play any content on it with it beginning with freezing for a minute when starting play back of content (audio remains playing) and also freezing for a minute when resuming after pausing (audio remains). This happens when playing back any quality of content and makes some things almost unwatchable.

I have no bandwidth issues as all devices are connected by cat6 gigabit Ethernet and the videos are less than 50mbps and stream fine even over wifi on other devices.

I have upgraded components of my network to try and solve this but to no avail.

Can you please provide DEBUG server logs which capture this happening ?

If there is nothing definitive there, we’ll grab the Shield’s player logs.

The sheild client becomes unusable playing back 1080p hevc video or 4k hevc video and sometimes also 1080p h264 video depending on the bitrate.

i’ve attatched some sheild logs while the video is laggy. on a 4k hevc hdr file
