Just checked and there was a new beta update for my Shield, v9.0.0.31619. Is this a new beta with the rolled back fixes? EDIT: Hopefully not as I downloaded it and had issues still right away with TrueHD audio, with the 5.1 stream working fine. Guess I’ll try the side load app.

My Shield updated to v9.0.0.31619 last night, but it didn’t fix the issue of files using TrueHD/Atmos tracks getting the endless spinner and not starting. No issues with other audio tracks.

What would… “Player: remove TrueHD timestamp precision changes.” … that infer exactly for us non techies? Obviously bearing in mind that all the Atmos/LipSync issues only started after a release note mentioned improvements to True-HD.

We updated the TrueHD filter to increase the precision (as the MKV container has them in milliseconds, which isnt quite enough for high sample rate TrueHD).
