I have plex running on Unraid (official Plex docker image) and a 2 tuner HDHomerun. I have just purchased 2 NVidia Shield TV Pros to replace a pair of Roku Ultras that kept hanging up while playing x265 files. On the new Shields with the latest Plex app, when I play live tv (local OTA) from my main account, the playback starts pretty quickly and plays ok with some buffering/stuttering at first before it tries to smooth out. However, when switching to any managed user account under the main, playback never happens/begins. It sticks at the spinning wheel as if its buffering. This will continue until the Shields screensaver pops up as if it was left idle. I have a lifetime Plex Pass and all of the Live TV settings appear to be correct as this was working perfectly with the Rokus.
Is this a known issue? I’ve spent 3 days googling it and searched this forum as well as reddits r/plex and r/NVidiaShieldTV subs with no luck.
