Nvidia Shield not playing Atmos

I have a plex media server setup on an i7 13700 & an RTX 4060 GPU doing the transcoding. The movies are 4K with Atmos in MKV format.

I’ve tried using 4K versions of Apple TV & Nvidia Shield TV Pro. While picture is playing I can only get Dolby Digital on Nvidia & PCM on Apple TV. I can not get Atmos sound at all.

The AVR is Marantz Cinema 50. Both the Apple TV & Nvidia are playing Atmos from other sources such as Netflix or Prime.

All software is up-to-date as of today.

In the Plex app settings on the Nvidia Shield, set Passthrough = HDMI.

In the Nvidia Shield settings, turn off Dolby Audio Processing.
