I have a couple of christmas music playlists. On Christmas Day and Christmas Eve I played these playlists via the Nvidia Shield client. On both days the audio would stop after several hours of play. Checking the server, showed that the music was still being streamed and I could connect other android clients (eg Chromebook) and the web client and get music. Rather than try and debug the problem since there were other priorities, I simply rebooted the Shield and restarted Plex. Audio would stop again after a few hours. I also noticed that just prior to audio being lost, songs would be cut short and the player would start another track. This would happen a couple of times just prior to audio dropping completely.
I often use playlists for long periods via a Chromebook in my shop and have not experienced any similar loss in audio.
