I am having this same issue, but on top of that, my media will not completly load. I have 4400 movies and 284 TV shows. It will do about 3/4 of the tv shows and then just stop loading any metadata for the rest. I know it is not the naming or anything like that because if I load them in a different order they work with no problem. but the last 40 shows that I move to the Shield, will not have any metadata associated with them. I have tried resetting about 400 times to no avail. It is most definitely broken. I have tried 2 different Shields and get the same results on both.

I have been running the 7.2.3 (30.6.131.48) version on my 2015 16 gig shield with sd card. Still looses PMS data on reboot so not fixed yet, although Kodi installed to the card functions with its libraries intact.
Is it happening even when not moving the application data to internal user accessible storage ?
The loss of the server after moving the app data to internal user accessible storage has already been referred to the development team
If the issue arises in other circumstances, it is reproducible? what are the steps that have been seen to bring the problem on ?
It only happens when moving the data to internal user accessible storage. I have been working with NV on this issue (problems arising out of the 2015 16gig failing to recognize a Samsung evo 128 gig sd card) and am aware that they have been able to reproduce this as well and will be working with plex on a solution.
Plex Media Server version 1.14.1.5490 has been released which should resolve the issue of losing the Plex Media Server application data when making use of the feature to move the data to user accessible storage or external storage
