Any update on this? It’s been nearly 3 months since Plex has said anything and many users are still experiencing the same problems.
So, interesting development. For the first time since I reported the issue, the Plex Play next portion of the home screen refreshed with what it actually should be. Plex still isn’t showing as an option in the Home Screen settings; so for the people that lost the Plex section entirely or new users, I’m not sure how they’d add it, but it was nice to see it finally refresh with new content. I’ll see how it behaves over the next few days.
Also just observed this. Weird. Guessing it was the last client update?

I force reinstalled the latest (2.5 years old now) firmware about a week ago. It has been working correctly since then. Something must have gotten corrupted at some point over the past few months. What a pain in the ass this will be if it happens routinely.
Or maybe they fixed something on the API side (wishful thinking). It would definitely be nice to know if this improved behavior was the result of something they did on their side.
