Nvidia Shield - Slow Player Status Updates

I utilize Tautulli to send notifications to my home automation hub to control lighting.

Up until pretty recently(today) it has worked just fine. Pause-Play status updates work fine but it’s just when a movie starts. So stop->play status updates are slow.

I had this problem once before but it was the play->pause status updates that were slow. Which it looks was fixed but now this is broken.

Could this be a bug introduced in the August 13 update?

UPDATE
Painfully downgraded and side-loaded 8.21.1 and the problem went away. All the notifications for lighting work as expected. Also, not sure if Plex devs see any of this but I side-loaded 8.22.0 and the issue was sadly still present as I like the new layout. I have turned off auto-update for now. Would love for this to be fixed as it’s an important part of my theater room :cry:
