Nvidia Shield TV using Hauppauge 1590 tuner; Audio out of sync watching Live TV

After a few minutes watching live TV, the audio goes out of sync. The only way to get the audio back into sync is to change channels or insert then remove a 3.5mm jack into the remote(PRO version). This resets the audio. This is not Ideal as the audio goes out of sync with the video often.

Nevertheless, the audio on recorded TV is synced ok.

Does anyone have a solution?

(Plex 1.7.4.4017 & Nvidia Shield 5.2(24.28.403.173)).

Nevertheless, the delayed audio still persists. With the added DVR time shift feature, it is now easier to temporarily fix by pausing or rewinding. However, the delayed audio bug returns.

Any isight, or acknowledgment would be much appreciated.
