Used it last night, everything was fine. Started up a show today and it freezes every 5-10 minutes. Audio keeps playing but the video freezes. I checked Google Play store and it shows it just updated today running version 6.13.2.3439. I rebooted the Shield and that had no effect. I run my Plex server from the Shield with 2 external hard drives, and was watching via the Plex app on the Shield. So there was not transcoding going on. Please help. Use this all the time.
Well it appears to be just the playback side of the App. While I use the Nvidia Shield as my Plex Server, and normally playback as well. I opened Plex on my Xbox One S, and started playback there. No issues so far after one episode.
Yep, same for me and several others (https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/307282/nvidia-shield-2017-v-6-13-2-video-stuttering-and-freezes#latest). I am having issues with my AppleTV as well.
