With different Plex versions (I know it works with Sony AndroidTV Plex app) it works, that you can skip intro with one click when avaliable. On the ShieldTV I need to click to show the player, than go to the top and mark skip intro and click it. That’s not a cool way, please fix that for the ShieldTV.

Have you tried the beta app?
I’m not at home to check but IIRC the beta makes it so that Skip Intro is highlighted by default when it appears and you only have to hit select once to skip.
i cant get the beta app, because the invite link is dead.
But good to know, that it works for the beta app at least.
yeah for the sony version it works too (androidtv google playstore version).
For Shield I’m using the google playstore version too. Its highlighted too, but when i click, it opens the player ui.
I really hope its fixed with the next update…
damn… just checked the playstore and got an update for plex, but after update its still not fixed. i will try to get the beta invite and try that for me…
The Google Form link for the beta signup appears to work for me? It may take a week or so for them to process you into the beta program, just keep checking the enrollment link provided in the thread there.
I confirmed skip intro works in the beta app on my shield tube.
true, did not work on mobile, but desktop worked. i hope i will get the invite fast. I’m really interested if the beta fixes it for me. thanks for your feedback!
Are you using the game controller? I’ve filed an issue with the team for that already.
