Baa, I see you now have the PMS error messages being passed on to the ATV XML. All of the RTMP channels throw up the error: “This client app is not supported” on the ATV itself.

This is great seeing progress being made on channels , cheers guys. I’m guessing you already know but 3 plexconnect versions ago (i think) navix was working at least you could enter it, & get a few channels. now just comes up client not supported, It’s just I was able to watch a few channels inside navix , which I’m unable to find standalone now.

Yes, it used to work and now doesn’t and I am not sure why. The NaviX plugin is RTMP based, however, and there is the possibility of a fix for these kind of Channels in Plexconnect as discussed in this thread.

I have been fooling around with the Hulu Channel plugin and generally it doesn't work in full on any of the Plex Clients at the moment. The exception is the "Popular Video" section which works on Plex OSX and Plex iOS...and it works on Plexconnect.
It would seem, then, if the plugin is ever updated for whatever is causing the other sections to fail, it will probably work on Plexconnect as well. Perhaps webkit may not be a huge issue for Plexconnect.
In general, WebKit is rarely much of an issue for the client since, by default it is a transcoded stream for all clients (except local desktop client). It tends to be a massive PITA on some server platforms/configurations and not much fun for Channel Devs to work with

Ps bbc iplayer still not showing on atv3.
Have you tried deleting the iPlayer app then reinstalling? As I have mentioned before, I can see iPlayer in Plexconnect and I can even browse media. It just will not play. It’s nonappearance for you is not necessarily a Plexconnect issue. For reference, I am using PMS 9.8.1 on OSX 10.6.8.
Also, I will not be addressing Navi-X here until Plexconnect officially supports RTMP plugins.
You might try the Navi-X thread in the Channels forum to help troubleshoot its current issues which extend beyond Plexconnect.

I added the Pandora app to the channel, it shows on ATV3 but it doesn't play at all. I'm running plexconnect on WHS 2011. Have any of you guys had any luck with the Pandora app?
Plexconnect does not currently support music. The developers had included some experimental music code at one point but decided it did not work well enough and so removed it.
Edit: Just noticed that Roidy added some music support to the latest build. Might want to try that with Pandora.
Riche, I was doing some testing with iPlayer and came up with a thought. Try the “disable compatibility checking” in the advanced settings of PMS and then check to see if iPlayer appears for you.

Take a look at TVCatchup (it is geo locked) as it gives you access to over 50 UK channels streamed.
I am hoping that someone will pick up developing a new channel for it, especially as the people behind it seem happy to help (they helped build a XBMC plugin that includes an EPG and it would mean that it is one that does not get broken by the content owners changing stuff).
Plus they set a legal ruling in the UK that what they are doing by rebroadcasting is perfectly legal; apparently they sent the bailiffs round to Sky when they did not get their legal fees paid on winning the case!

Ok that worked thanks bbc iplayer & few others have reappeared. Nice 1.
Another thing noticed on all plugins is if there’s a link for a certain show that is a YouTube link , they won’t play either. Just a heads up that’s all.
