Since updating the server the old iPhone 4s cannot connect, it just shows all media hosted on the server as offline.
Any ideas why?
Here you go… those old devices no longer get updates to their root certificates from the respective vendors (in your case Apple, they’re far from the only ones 
)

You should still be able to connect if you change Settings > [Server Name] > Network > Secure Connections to Disabled

Thanks for this. I gave it a go but now I’m even more confused.
If I change the setting to ‘Disabled’ none of the family iPhones with the latest app can connect, even the web app from Plex.tv failed. Only way I could get in was using the http://X.X.X.X:32400 address. It was set to ‘preferred’ before.
