Old movies being marked as recently added

My Plex server has existed for 7 1/2 years. Just in the last month or so, when adding new movies, it will take a bunch of existing movies and label them as recently added, even though they have been on my server for years.

My server is running on Windows 10, with storage on a Synology NAS using a mapped drive. I can’t find any rhyme or reason why. Here’s one example that got listed as recently added just today:

Any thoughts on what is doing this and how to prevent it?

Under these circumstances, “Empty trash automatically after every scan” has to be off at all times. Otherwise something like this can happen at any time.

Thank you. I have changed that. Hopefully it will resolve the issue.
