Old server shows up on shares

Hi all–

I have an old server that was shared with many friends that’s now been defunct for a few years.

It’s not listed amongst my servers. However, the libraries from that server are a part of the share count with them, and they show up as down on their homescreen/navigation.

How do I decouple this now-gone server from my account so that friends no longer see the broken libraries from them?

Thanks in advance!

Verify the old server is no longer listed in Authorized Devices: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/pms

If it is listed, delete it (red X).

Go to Manage Library Access: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access

Check the libraries shared with friends. If the old server & libraries are listed, unshare them.

Thanks, FordGuy61.

When I said that the server isn’t listed amongst my servers, I was referring to the Authorized Devices list. It wasn’t and isn’t listed there.

The libraries remain in the overall count on the main screen for “manage library access” but when I click on the individual user, the old server & its library aren’t listed.

Thanks to whichever support person fixed a thing. I just checked, and the ghost server has disappeared from the share count from my view.

I’ll be asking users to log out and back in again to refresh if they don’t already see a change. If any report a related issue, I’ll post again to continue.

Thanks again!
