Users & Sharing showing share counts for old servers

Server Version#: 1.24.5.5173
Player Version#: 1.37.0.2706-5b2cfe50

I used to have two servers, but have since consolidated. When I go to the Users & Sharing page, the count of shared libraries with friends includes the number of libraries that were shared with them from the now-defunct server. How can I remove those relationships/cause my account to forget about the old server so that those share counts are accurate? The old server no longer shows up in the server selection dropdown in the settings view.

If you’ve not done so, remove the old server from your list of Authorized Devices.

When you’re in Users & Sharing, and you select a Friend’s name, do you still see the old server listed?

The old server does not show up under Authorized Devices

When I click on this profile that says “sharing 8 libraries with them”:

I see only the four on my present server, the old server isn’t there.

This should be resolved now.
Reload your web app.

Yup, looks fixed on my end. Did you have to purge some stale data, or was it a bug that got fixed?

I’m also having the same issue. On Version 1.25.0.5282. All old servers are no longer listed in authorized devices.

Done. Reload your web app before doing anything else.

awesome thank you. Is there a way to avoid this in the future?

Only by removing a decommissioned server within a few weeks from https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/pms
If you wait longer, you cannot see the old servers anymore on this page.

Hi guys, a little late to the party… Otto, any chance that someone can give me the same treatment? My server “Plex01” was offline long enough that the same thing described above happened. (And I would like to remove it if possible)
End users see it and that the server and its association with my account, but I have no way to remove it.
Any help is appreciated.
Now that I am aware that offline servers will disappear from the “servers” list after extended downtime I will make sure to avoid leaving servers in this list that I expect to be down for an extended time.

done @Tandy626

You guys rock! TY!

I have the same issue…showing old shared libraries with users, renamed server, removed server from devices list, too late to remove from devices/pms… can a mod/plex please update my stuff too, like for the other users? @misfitzx138

thank you to @BigWheel for the IMMEDIATE reply and fix…i mean within a minute…plex mods/employee’s are the best!! #plex4eva

I know I can just mute the thread, but maybe it’d be a good idea to make this cleanup “self-service” by rolling out an update instead of people popping into the forum for one-off manual fixes?

there is a fix in the works to update all user accounts who may have this issue, It is currently in review to make sure we don’t accidentally remove anyones real active server. I’m hoping the clean up will happen some times next week but i don’t have a definitive ETA
