I used to have two servers, but have since consolidated. When I go to the Users & Sharing page, the count of shared libraries with friends includes the number of libraries that were shared with them from the now-defunct server. How can I remove those relationships/cause my account to forget about the old server so that those share counts are accurate? The old server no longer shows up in the server selection dropdown in the settings view.
Hi guys, a little late to the party… Otto, any chance that someone can give me the same treatment? My server “Plex01” was offline long enough that the same thing described above happened. (And I would like to remove it if possible)
End users see it and that the server and its association with my account, but I have no way to remove it. Any help is appreciated.
Now that I am aware that offline servers will disappear from the “servers” list after extended downtime I will make sure to avoid leaving servers in this list that I expect to be down for an extended time.
I have the same issue…showing old shared libraries with users, renamed server, removed server from devices list, too late to remove from devices/pms… can a mod/plex please update my stuff too, like for the other users? @misfitzx138
I know I can just mute the thread, but maybe it’d be a good idea to make this cleanup “self-service” by rolling out an update instead of people popping into the forum for one-off manual fixes?
there is a fix in the works to update all user accounts who may have this issue, It is currently in review to make sure we don’t accidentally remove anyones real active server. I’m hoping the clean up will happen some times next week but i don’t have a definitive ETA
