Users see shared libraries from servers that no longer exist

This reddit post sums up my exact problem, I have users that still show “libraries” that are from old servers that have been long removed. These servers are physically gone so no chance of restoring them

It seems as if a Plex admin was able to help but if someone knows how to fix this issue, please let me know as none of my searches seem to help.

What is the “correct” way or order of operation to decom a sever and make sure this doesnt happen again?

Im getting ready to rotate out a few servers as im trying to virtualize my stack and dont want this issue to repeat in a few months?

After decommissioning a server, visit your account page and remove the obsolete server(s) from your account.
Be care ful NOT to remove any servers that are still used – even if only intermittently.

Alternatively, edit each of your shared users and remove their access permission to the old server(s). (Account Settings - Manage Library Access)

BINGO, that worked by removing the servers from that list.

I swore i had removed them but, clearly, i did not, you rock man, my OCD feels better now lol
