I don’t know that we can say that it’s what “most” people want. Please keep in mind, there are only 147 participants in this thread (excluding employees), which is a rather small sample size, compared to the total number of users out there. In saying that, as we mentioned here

We’re still looking into how the underlying desire here might be best addressed, but we don’t have anything specific to share right now.
So we are aware it’s not everyone’s preference, and we are taking that feedback on board, and are discussing it internally. We are treating it with urgency, as I’ve said, the issues with the preferences and the numbers of items appearing will be in 1.22.3, which will be the next release of PMS, and is currently in internal testing.
