On my home screen none of the above categories are updating. If I click “retry” it tells me “there was an error retrieving content”

Nobody else has this issue?

That generally means the web app cannot connect to your server but some of those things are like Plex Picks is our streaming content.

What is the URL you are using to access the web app? and does it do it on any other client?

Happening here too (but I’ve fixed it), only seems to be an issue after seeing the latest version of the web UI. I’ve checked what happens when the refresh button is hit via a browser dev console and the payload that is returned contains information about everything on the home screen except for the ‘On Deck’ (I do not have any of the other categories you described on my home screen).

I just reset my home screen customisation and went through the wizard initially and the on deck section has now completely disappeared. (Settings -> Reset Customisation)

And finally, whilst on the home screen I clicked the edit button (the pencil to the top right), and disabled the automated home screen management. When I re-enabled automated management On Deck reappeared and was populated, seemingly fixing the issue.

Whether this will work for you, and whether all the steps I took there actually helped in fixing the problem I do not know, but give it a try, and good luck!

This was happening to me on the web UI for months and I didn’t bother to investigate until tonight.

Resetting the Customization solved the problem.
