Per the title, not loving that On Demand at present is always on the navigation options. Will we be able to remove this (a bit like removing libraries etc) in the final version much like we can Un-Pin today ?
In other words all I want to see is Home, Libraries, Live TV, Discover, will that be possible to customize ?

It can be removed at the account level in your account settings. Hopefully they add the ability to enable/disable it on a per-app level too.
issue is, sometimes its nice to have, with the old pins you had the ability to not pin it so it wasn’t using precious navigation/screen space, but still there if you wanted.
Overall better customization of libraries or the lower buttons would fix this. the old Pin system is currently still superior for power users. I dont like all my media crammed into one button and like 4 buttons i dont even use on the buttom.
Agree completely. On my TV I keep all that stuff unpinned all the time. On my phone, I like to keep it unpinned but will occasionally hop into Discover and my watchlist. This way I have to just disable it entirely as I’d rather have it never than have it always.
Where is that option exactly and does that remove from the Plex Experience version yet ? Agree that per app / instance would be great too but would like to remove it as not interested in rentals etc. Thanks
Plex Web then Settings > Online Media Sources. Removes them from your account entirely, including the new app.
Thanks, that helped. I noticed it doesn’t remove the Find Friends tab from the original app though, are we just stuck with that one ?
The social tabs on the home screen (find friends, view activity, etc) were added not that long ago. It’s not really part of the free ad-supported content, but you disable Discover completely it removes those areas.
Edit: It took effect immediately on the web app, but I had to sign out and back in on my Fire Stick to get the Home page to change there. When I was re-choosing libraries to pin I noticed Discover was not on the list of options as well. Home screen does not have the extra tabs on Android TV now, too.
