Remove Plex from pinned

How do i remove the Plex button (with discover) from the pinned menu?

I don’t believe you can. The Pinned menu shows all the things that can be Pinned to the Sidebar. You can unpin Discover from the Sidebar by clicking the Three Dots menu to the right of Discover and selecting Unpin.

Good luck.

Chris

Thank you, but unpin Discover doesn’t do anything, it still there.

You remove it like any other media source.
Switch to ā€œMoreā€, then scroll all the way down, until you reach the Plex media sources.
ā€œDiscoverā€ is there, and it has a context menu behind the ellipsis ā‹® which allows you to unpin it.

The process differs a bit, depending on which type of Plex app is used:

Do you mean here? there is nothing there.

ā€œPinā€ is there. Which means that ā€œDiscoverā€ is not yet pinned.
So it can’t be unpinned.

Please show a larger part of your screen. I don’t recognize that small snippet in your above screen shot.

Well, they are correct. It doesn’t matter if Discover is pinned or Unpinned. Discover remains regardless and that’s the point, we want it entirely removed from the side panel. Where is THAT ability?

So your side bar is already in ā€œMoreā€ mode.
You can’t remove it from that.

So you’re confirming that this is NOT removable? Any details as to why?

Because Plex wants you to have it.

There’s a feature request rolling around to grant that ability. You should consider voting for it:

Im already out of votes. In fact, there really shouldn’t even need a vote required since this again, like many things Plex likes to add, should have had it by default but didn’t.

It’s not removable from the ā€œmoreā€ screen but it most definitely is able to be unpinned from the ā€œhomeā€ screen on everything I’ve done it on: PC, iPad, Roku TV.

There are 2 screen here, Pinned Screen and More Screen. Pinned is default screen when you launch any client. More Screen is where your complete servers and libraries, that’s your screenshot here.

Discover is already unpinned so you don’t have to do anything, just use Plex normally as you would. What you’re asking is basically remove Discover and Plex entirely from your ā€œMore Screenā€ which won’t happen. At best you can do is vote for disabling new features which might give an option to hide Discover but getting rid of Plex itself don’t think will happen.
