One of my libraries is not updating

Server Version#: 1.21.3.4046
Player Version#: Various, but mainly Sony Android TV and Samsung Note10+

My ‘TV’ library appears to have stopped updating from around 26 Jan. I cannot manually update it - I try, and it finds the folders and scans them, but no new items show up.
I tried creating a new ‘TV’ folder, and that is completely empty. The existing one at least lets me play items that were already in the library.

This doesn’t appear to be an issue with my ‘Movies’ library - although I haven’t done as extensive a check.

I have checked permissions (I think) and all required users have full access.

I am not overly techy, so am now officially lost as to how to fix this. Help would be appreciated.

Have just had a proper look and it appears that none of my libraries are updating. Very frustrating.
I have tried rolling back to a prior server version, to no avail.

Really not sure what else to do

Plex Media Scanner.log is the first place to look if nothing showing up at all.

is the media on network drives or drives connected directly (internal or USB)

I have also just checked that it isn’t because my media is on a NAS. I moved some content to my PC (where the server lives/runs) and can confirm the libraries also don’t update when I add that folder as a source of content

Hi @bigwheel. Media is on a NAS that is set as a network drive (S: on my PC)
I’ve looked in the .log file, but it is all gibberish to me unfortunately

You can attach it here if you want someone to take a look. (Just drag and drop on text entry window)

The .log file? Or the text of the file?

the whole log file. don’t copy paste the text itself.

You can message it to me by clicking on my username then message button if you are concerned about sharing it on public forum

Thanks. I have sent it through. Not sure I did it right, wouldn’t drag and drop. I used the upload button instead

Looks like you have some database corruption.

Feb 18, 2021 15:51:37.955 [13764] ERROR - SQLITE3:0xbdcef553, 11, database corruption at line 65066 of [bf8c1b2b7a]

You can try to repair or restore a backup

OK. Thanks. The Repair option looks very coding-y. I’ve got no experience with SQLite3.
Might give the Restore one a go, given I hadn’t had issues prior to now

Thanks

Awesome sauce! That appears to have worked. I’ve lost about 2 weeks of viewing history, but that isn’t a lot tbh. Serious big thanks @BigWheel!!! Very much appreciated.

Here’s hoping I don’t get any further corruptions
