One UI 7 Issues (solved in One UI 8)

I’m noticing that for every track played (besides the first one) the information (current track/artist etc.) on the media widget/notification is one track behind. It only updates to the correct track when I pause it, scrub through the track or skip it through widget. Once it goes to the next track its one behind again.

Another bug with the media widget, though this doesn’t happen for every album and seems to fix itself when opening the plexamp app, the artwork is sometimes very low res. While the artwork in the plexamp app looks fine.

comparison: (artwork res is 1200x1200) (the info is correct because i paused before)

Oh, and this is just a minor thing, I don’t know if the widget allows it but it would be nice if the plexamp accent colors are used in the widget. Samsung doesn’t always do a good job picking good colors.

One UI 8 has been out for a few days, and the issue with the notification seems to be fixed

Generally this is due to Android applying battery save limitations to the parts of the app which keep the state up to date. Make sure all of those settings are disabled.

That is pretty weird; I’ve asked internally if any of our testers have that device.
