Upon discovering this issue I have uninstalled & reinstalled, emptied cache & data, rebooted the planet 3x and clicked my heels several times over.
On my S25Ultra, Plex merely opens up - seemingly twice. Hitting ‘sign in’ (via email, not google etc.) makes the app go to the app.plex.tv for logging in. I can log in on the web interface but upon return to the app - it loops twice again, then asks me to log in - again. This pattern of futility goes on repeatedly until my ears bleed.
On my older phone, running Plex (2025.16.0 also) on Android 14, with Samsung ONEUI 6.1 - it all operates beautifully and dare I say, even sexily…
So it seems to me it’s an incompatibility with ONEUI7, Android15, or a mix of both.

After waiting for some update or anything to help and getting nowhere, I resorted to uninstalling the current Plex app from Google Play Store and using APKmirror to download an older version of Plex.
It worked flawlessly.
So, yeah - as far as I can see, it’s definitely a compatibility issue with the current app only.
Mine is working on my S24 with one exception – it will not display TV listings from one of my local servers with a tuner card in it. Don’t have problems on any other device.
