This is an odd one as I’ve searched the forums but so far only found the opposite issue to what I’m seeing. Basically:
In Users & Sharing I have a managed user named ‘Kids’, with:
- Restrictions ‘Older Kid’ (I’ve also tried setting as Younger Kid and Teen)
- Allow Access to Live TV ‘Disabled’
Under Settings > Online Media Sources:
- Live TV ‘Disabled for Managed Users’
- Movies & TV ‘Disabled for Managed Users’
- Web Shows, Podcasts, Music all ‘Disabled’
The problem is that on iPhone, iPad (both using with the paid Plex Client) and both my Apple TV 4K the ‘Kids’ profile still has access to Live TV, and Movies & TV. Curiously the only place I’ve found where the issue doesn’t occur is the web player.
- If I return Settings > Online Media Sources ‘Disabled’ instead of ‘Disabled for managed users’ they then disappear from the Kids profile on all the devices, but then of course as admin I lose access too.
Has anyone see this issue before and know of a workaround/fix?
I have the latest client 7.28 installed on all iOS devices, and latest server 1.25.4.5487 on the WD Ex2Ultra.
