So im trying to use my phone as a remote control for my Windows Plex Player. I have the same installed on my laptop and i can see that fine from my ios cast list but cant see the desktop one.
So im wondering is it maybe an configuration problem?

The ability to cast/fling to Plex Web and Plex Desktop was removed in June 2022 (release notes).
If you need to fling to a desktop, Plex suggests using Plex HTPC.
I´ve read this but i have the same version on the laptop as the desktop and that works so i don´t get it.
What version?
Is the laptop a Mac? If so, maybe it is using AirPlay, which would not be supported on Windows.
