I completely deleted the ‘TV SHOWS’ folder I had initially created, and then recreated it. I have all 13 Seasons of King of the Hill, and they are all there in the folder I linked to my Plex’s ‘TV SHOWS’, but only 10 Seasons will show up.
Standard question…
How did you organize the folder within TV SHOWS and how did you name those files?
Naming issues are the most common root cause for things not showing up as expected… if Plex doesn’t find the season/episode identifier in those file names, it’ll ignore the files entirely. On the other hand… messed up names can result in PLex finding the files but mistaking them for a different show/season/episode (resulting in duplicate entries in your library).
I’m not sure what Hulu does but referring to the format with the S12E01. And you are just adding the main folder (TV in below example) when creating the library.
TV/King of the Hill/Season 12/King of the Hill S12E01 optional info.mkv
the scanner logs usually have a hint on why a folder might get ignored if it is seen at all.
