Only in a single show i cannot see subtitles

Hi,
i am in episode #8 of a certain show and suddenly all of the hebrew subtitles for this show stopped showing, even in previous episodes which i already saw with subtitiles now i cannot see them any longer with hebrew subtitles.
All other shows and movies seem to be working fine.
i checked the name of the subtitles files and they match the video file.
any suggestions?

Please post the Plex XML info of one of the episodes.

thanks.

Settings - Server - Agents - TV Shows - TheTVDB
The line ‘Local Media Assets’ has a check mark on it?

If it does, I’d like to analyse the SRT file. Zip and attach it please.

yes, it is checked.
attached.

This subtitle has only 3 lines.
It is encoded in some Windows 8 bit codepage.

SRT subtitles for use with Plex must use the UTF-8 encoding, then they’ll work in every client.

I have attached a fixed version.

You should also give this a read:

And don’t download directly into a folder that is added to a Plex library.

Hi Guys, thanks but it still doesnt work.
I dont see the hebrew subtitle.
I removed the mkv file and added it back again, did an update libraries and still no hebrew subtitle.
I have attached to full srt file.

You don’t need to update the library. Performing an Analyze on the episode should work.

It still doesnt work - i dont see the hebrew subtitles
i have attached the screen shot.

I think you’ll have to put them into the proper, prescribed folder hierarchy, which requires a ‘Season’ folder.
See my link above.

Did that and still no subtitles.

  1. Verify again, that the line ‘Local Media Assets’ is activated everywhere, particularly here
Notice that there are separate sections underneath ‘TV Shows’ for the different metadata agents.
You must click on ‘The TVDB’ button!

  1. This one sounds weird, but there is a sense behind it:
Settings - Server - Agents - TV Shows - TheTVDB
grab the line ‘The TVDB’ and move it downwards.
    then leave this page
    go back
and put the line ‘The TVDB’ into the top position again

  2. Have you tried another Analyze https://support.plex.tv/articles/200289336-analyze-media/
    on a single episode?

  3. Try Refresh Metadata on the whole season.

  4. As a last resort, I’d try a Plex Dance
