I recently set up plex for music and am pretty happy with it overall. However, I noticed that the library does not seem to include all of my music, and some of the album information is wrong. In troubleshooting I found at least one (I assume of many) folders where only some of the files have been added to the server. The folder is just an album’s worth of mp3s, all ripped at the same time so there is not an obvious reason why some made it while others did not. Seven of them show up in the library while five of them do not. The server also attributed the ones that did make it to a ‘various artists’ album, even though the mp3 tags are correct and clean.
Is there a way that I can force the last five files into the library? More importantly, is there something I can do to rescan everything to find whatever files this is happening for? Manually checking ~20,000 files is not something that I am super excited to do.
