So as the title says, ever since about a week and a half ago when I added a few foreign-language movies to my server, Opensubtitles has just stopped working and downloading subs for anything and I’ve been forced to go back and manually add .srt files to the server. The manually-added files work alright, some with some messing around with the subtitle timing, but it’s very inconvenient of course. The added ones show up as “Unknown (SRT External)” whereas normally the automatically downloaded ones show up as “English (SRT External)”. I’ve been getting my subs from OpenSubtitles.org as well.
I’ve tried all of the other fixes, re-did my credentials for OpenSubtitles.org so that Plex should be able to communicate with the resource. I’ve checked the box for OpenSubtitles and put it at the top of the list in agents. What else can I do? Is it just a bum-update or something? Thanks.
