Optimized version doesn't update when replacing the original file

Hello,

I have created a filter for my 4k movies on which I run an optimization job. Whenever I add a new 4k movie file, it automatically converts it down to 1080p, that works well.
But when I replace a 4k movie (mostly for adding a second language), it doesn’t update the optimized version.
For example now I have the 4k version in EN&GER, while the optimized version only has the EN audio track.
“Analyze” or “Refresh Metadata” doesn’t help.

Is it possible for the server to automatically re-optimize a file that has been replaced?

I don’t think there’s any way to do this with Plex today. You could create a Feature Suggestion for this.
