I noticed on another thread it was suggested that a smart list is used to create optimized versions for certain resolutions. Do smart lists get updated automagically when media is added and will this result in new files being converted accordingly?
This is already implemented.
You can create a filter first and then choose to optimize the results of this filter. The filter criteria are going to be a property of the optimization job.
Once you get new media which fit the original filter’s criteria, they are going to be optimized automatically - as long as the optimization job is kept.
Yea, was not sure on this as I think I tried to create a smartlist in the past based on watched status and it did not seem to update the list when something was watched.
